This year, for the first time in my life, I am taking part in NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month). The event starts tomorrow (1st of November) and the goal is to write at least 50000 words in 30 days. It sounds crazy, right? 
I am not sure if I will be able to achieve the goal. First of all, it is a lot of writing. I plan to write only on weekdays, so that means I will have to write an average of 2500 words per day during 20 days. Secondly, I have never written a novel until now. At first I was thinking of writing a non-fiction book, which is allowed even if it is not in the spirit of the event, but then I decided to give it a try. Why not?
I will do my best to write these 50000 words, and even in that case I am pretty sure that I will not finish this challenge with something worth publishing. However, I have no doubt that this is going to be a wonderful experience for me.
