This summer I had the opportunity to work in the Riverside County Library System in California. It is a library network of about 35 libraries. The main branch is in Riverside, but they have facilities in different towns and cities throughout the county.
My main task has been to analyze how are they working in the social media environment, and what are the needs of their community that can be addressed through the internet. The goal was to give them some clues for improving their performance in this area. At the end, I presented a report with my conclusions and recommendations, which had the following summary:
